Plans for a luxury yachting marina complex to delight holidaymakers in Magaluf are reportedly set to receive the green light from officials. The Majorca Daily Bulletin claims the ambitious project - which could transform the resort - involves diverting sea water inland. Plans for the area include the luxury marina project and a new home for the Majorca Cricket Club. Added to this will be a shiny new lawn bowling complex and botanical gardens to teach visitors about Majorca and its array of flora and fauna. An exclusive hotel development could also top off the area's redevelopment plans, which the newspaper said could be rubber stamped in February. Magaluf is already seen by many as a hotspot for boats of all varieties and holidaymakers can go water-skiing, sailing and parasailing. The less adventurous can also simply rent a pedalo and survey the 900-metre long beach at a more leisurely pace.
