Majorca has been voted in the top five European destinations for singletons to find love.
New research shows that almost one in ten holidaymakers end up saying "I do" to their holiday romance, moneysupermarket.com has reported.
Majorca is the second most likely place in Europe to find love, the research has shown, after narrowly losing the top spot to the city of Paris.
Barcelona, Tenerife and Roma all lag behind the Mediterranean island as Europe's love hotspots.
Cupid knows all about Majorca and youngsters are not the only ones to find love among its clear white sands, as one in five Brits over 60 end up marrying their holiday squeeze.
Peter Gerrard of moneysupermarket.com said that it is "great to know that you are never too old to find love" when on holiday in Majorca.
Marriage is a vital part of Majorca's history and the island's union with Spain came as a result of the nuptials of Ferdinand and Isabella of Aragon and Castille in the 15th century.
