TripAdviser has voted Majorca in the top ten of list of islands in the Mediterranean sea.
The Balearic island was voted into the top ten because it is a destination where holidaymakers can get a large dose of sun, sand and sea during the day and party at night.
TripAdvisor spokeswoman Michele Perry said that all ten of the Mediterranean islands "offer pristine beaches and their own unique features".
Ms Perry added that the sunny islands in the Mediterranean are a special delight for those that want "sun, sea and dancing all night".
Younger revellers on a Majorca holiday will be attracted to the sights and sounds of Magalluf, which has a "lively" stretch of bars and clubs that are open to the small hours of the morning.
Guests staying at the Magalluf Playa will find themselves right in the heart of the action.
The 900 metre-long beach is also one the most popular places on the island for British tourists, offering a wide range of watersport activities.
Nearby to Magaluf is one of Majorca's top attractions, the Pirates Adventure theatre show, which since its inception has attracted more than three million visitors.
