BBC favourite Jamie Glover has wistfully described his Majorca holidays as a child.
The actor, who played the role of deputy headmaster in recent hit drama Waterloo, made his comments to the Times' travel magazine, noting that Deya in Majorca was a "home from home" for him.
Glover explained he would visit and stay with poet Robert Graves, his father's godfather.
"Back then, Deya was a tiny, rustic, hillside village that used to attract bohemian types who didnt want to say goodbye to the 1960s," he told the newspaper.
However, now it has become more mainstream and boasts a luxury hotel, he added, referring to the island as Mallorca, as the locals do.
Visitors wanting to know more about Robert Graves - or about Majorca - may like to visit the village, suggests Mallorca Online.
It notes the area is home to many myths and stories, a number of which refer to the poet.
