Many footballers are resting their weary limbs in Majorca at the moment and it seems chairmen are no different.
Former Newcastle United bigwig Freddie Shepherd is nuts about Majorca - so much so that he and his family spend most of their time there, the Shields Gazette reports.
And while most people traveling about Majorca are content to pick up some local crafts or other, football chairmen aim a little bit higher - they like to buy clubs.
The millionaire revealed to the newspaper that he has a villa on the island and refused to quell reports linking him with a bid for local side Real Mallorca.
He said: "We live in Majorca most of the year - and they (Real Mallorca) have always been our second team."
Various football stars and their wives have been sighted about Majorca recently. The most recent spotting was of Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard, who was enjoying a Majorca holiday with his family.
