 Sporty types could be encouraged to book cheap flight to Palma |

| Runners in the upcoming Palma Marathon could be among those set to book cheap flights to Majorca. The race is taking place on October 18th and is open to both professional and amateur athletes. Participants are able to choose between a half, full or ten kilometre option, with children able to take part in a special race on the previous day (October 17th). It is the sixth time the event has been held and comprises a dash through the streets of the island capital. The route takes in sights such as Puente Club de Mar, Hotel Cupido and Las Maravillas, meaning it could be the perfect way to absorb the sights and sounds of the city. Organisers remarked: "Children and adults, runners and spectators can look forward to a splendid sporting event in a great Spanish atmosphere and with a diverse supporting programme. Come and join in!" Meanwhile, food fans planning a holiday to Majorca could drop in at Simply Fosh, a restaurant which was reportedly visited by dancers from the Moulin Rouge touring show earlier this year.  |
