| People who love nothing more than listening to some relaxing jazz may be encouraged to book a holiday to Majorca this year. This is because Richard Bona, a Cameroonian musician, has announced a gig on the island, which is set to take place at the Conservatory venue in Palma on November 12th. It is one of a number of shows taking place in Spain on his world tour, which also takes in performances in Prague, Vienna, Berlin and Paris. Fans of Bona may expect him to play tunes from albums such as Scenes From My Life, Tiki and Reverence. Meanwhile, classic rock aficionados may wish to book a cheap flight to Palma next month, as Status Quo have lined up a gig. Francis Rossi''s group are set to perform at the city''s Arena on September 8th. The show is part of a large European tour, which has already seen the band rock crowds at Glastonbury festival. ![]() |
