| A holiday in Majorca has been recommended for families seeking a nice getaway this summer. According to the Mirror, the Canarios Park centre at the resort of Calas de Mallorca has all the classics you would expect to find on a bucket-and-spade break. Squash and tennis courts, a play area two swimming pools and kids club during school holidays make it a family favourite, the newspaper said. Mums and dads can drop their youngsters off at the evening disco if they want some time alone on the all-inclusive resort, which was renovated in the 1990s. "The hotel is big and 70s-style so the exterior is certainly not ultra chic," the Mirror added. "But it is but comfortable [and] family-friendly." Calas de Mallorca is located on the east of the Balearic island and lies about 40 miles away from Palma, where there are endless activities to do. Recently, yachts congregated in the city''s harbor for the start of an annual event.  |
