 Family takes Father''s Day holiday to Majorca |

| A family from Manchester have celebrated Father''s Day with a holiday to Majorca. However, the getaway was a special break because dad Duncan Simpson had recently lost ten stone in weight. With wife Jeanette and daughter Phoebe, he jetted of for a break in the sun having recovered from an operation to help him slim down, reports the Manchester Evening News. "The change has been amazing," Mr Simpson said. "I feel like a different person." Another recent visitor to the Balearic Island was television presenter Kirsty Wark, who wrote about her stay in the Telegraph. She recommended venturing there in spring and autumn, as this is when the weather is cool enough for hiking. Ms Wark also mentioned how stunning the scenery was. In addition, she noted the convenience of a two-hour journey by air from the UK, making the destination easy and convenient to get to and also providing lots of availability for cheap flights to Majorca.  |
