| A tennis star who won last year''s Wimbledon Championships might end up getting a flight to Majorca this week if his injury gets worse. Reports suggest that Rafael Nadal, who was born and resides on the Spanish island, will play one more match and see how his knee is. The number one seed''s coach Toni Nadal was quoted by the Sun as saying chances are the duo will "take the plane to Majorca". He added: "He cannot bend his knees. It is difficult to play because his knees are not too good. He was not happy." A profile of Rafael was featured this week in the Times, which looked at his life an upbringing in the Majorcan town of Manacor. It said he still socialises with old friends and goes fishing in Porto Cristo harbour, located on the east coast of the Balearic Island and about 40 miles from Palma and Son Sant Joan International Airport. ![]() |
