Wednesday 17th Jun 2009 at 15:32
A newspaper has profiled Rafael Nadal, who hails from Majorca and added Wimbledon champion to his list of achievements last year.

The current number one seed was examined by the Telegraph, which detailed the business successes of his family members.

As well as owning apartments in Majorca, they manage an insurance company, cafe, restaurant and window-making firm.

But when Nadal was 14, he was asked to base himself in Barcelona.

"The family thought he was doing well enough in Majorca," his uncle and coach Toni said. "He had become world champion for his age group while growing up."

It was also noted that Nadal still lives on the Balearic Island simply because he likes it.

Holidays in Majorca could make many visitors think the same, as there are endless activities and beaches to be enjoyed. The coastline also offers lots of sightseeing opportunities.

Temperatures remain lovely and warm throughout the summer months with long days of sunshine.
