 Half of Ant and Dec take a Majorca holiday |

| One half of the Geordie duo of Ant and Dec is reportedly sunning himself on the island of Majorca. The Sun relays that Ant and his on-screen partner will be forced to take a 25 per cent pay cut, which is the equivalent of ÂŁ5 million - so it may be no surprise to hear Ant has booked himself a cheap Majorca holiday. It adds the presenter even flew with a budget airline in an effort to cut costs, which goes to show even megastar celebrities are having to tighten their belts during the recession. Regarding his impending pay cut, the star said: "Everybody is suffering - it''s global - but what we''re interested in is making great shows." However, an ITV source told the newspaper the channel will do everything it can to make sure the duo maintain an exclusive contract to front shows such as BritainÂ’s Got Talent. Those in the know about Majorca may be aware that it can be the place to go for a holiday that is heavy on fun, but light on the wallet.  |
