| Losing FA Cup Final manager David Moyes is set to console himself on a Majorca holiday. The Everton boss told the Sun he takes a trip to the island every year in the close season. "I''ve very rarely had any good runs in the FA Cup and, for most of the past ten years, I''ve watched the final in Magaluf," he commented to the newspaper. However, this year he had to delay his jaunt because of the showpiece football match at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (May 30th) – which the Toffees lost 2 -1 to Chelsea. Although the Liverpudlian club took the lead within the first minute, goals from Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard made the sure the trophy stayed in London. However, with its warm weather and beautiful beaches, Majorca could provide some consolation to despondent Moyes. He is not the only sports star to spend his time away from the spotlight at the destination. Johnny Wilkinson, Jimmy Calderwood and Germany''s national team manager Joachim Lowe have all topped up their tans on the island recently. ![]() |
